A real gem in the heart of Somerset . Fantastic individual rooms , a lovely inviting restaurant with great fresh food , quality wines and bar full of local characters complimented by traditional ales and a log fire . wonderful

I have been regularly visiting The George for several years and totally recommend it as a great local, good food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are always helpful and it is a beautiful old building too with a good garden for the better weather. ????????

Friendly pub with lovely staff and beautiful interior. Great atmosphere with fires in the winter and a large pub garden in the summer. Live music on Sunday afternoons is always brilliant. Tasty and reasonably priced menu. 5 all round!
