Wolters Gasthof - Weddelbrook

Unfortunately we now live a good hour's drive from wolters gasthof and therefore our visits have become less. the more we were looking forward to this and were not disappointed. this time we had taken friends who were never here. the hÃ1⁄4ftsteak shattered on the hill and the pre-picked colorful salate was super fresh. the food was so rich again that at the best will no more satisfactorily. pity, because the card promises good. well, maybe next time, and this will be despite the removal.

(Deutsch weiter unten)My family has been a fan of this restaurant for at least 15 years. If you fancy proper, authentic German kitchen, this is the place to go. The menu is in German but I'm sure someone from the waiting staff will speak English and dict.cc should help you translate the menu. Portions are massive, my parents and I shared an appetizer and two mains and still had to take away leftovers. You get some bread with aoli on the house (see picture) as an appetizer. Prices are quite decent and as I said, portions are massive. Always friendly staff and the owner often comes around and checks everyone is happy. Honestly, if you're visiting and fancy good German food, try Wolters! ---Wir gehen hier seit über 15 Jahren gerne her, weil Wolters einfach tolles, leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen anbietet. Es gibt Brot mit Aioli vorne weg und die Portionen sind immer riesig. Vor allem schön finde ich die Atmosphäre, die immer freundliche Bedienung und die Tatsache, dass der Chef fast immer selbst vorbei kommt und sich versichert, dass alles in Ordnung ist. Wolters ist übrigens auch immer ein Favorit für Familienfeiern, da gibt es ein klasse Buffet.
