Contribuiți la feedbackWent on a Sunday for brunch and the wait was approximately 45 minutes for 2. Fortunately we got seats at the bar. We ordered the crab and asparagus omelette and the OMG french toast with a side of hashed browns, a mock tail, and 2 lavender lattes. Everything was made to perfection. We enjoyed our meal and the ambiance of hustle and bustle. This remains one of my favorite brunch spots.
It's pretty good food. Very pricey for what it is...I'd call it a Hipster Dennys. I definitely think their food is worth more and they do the little things to earn it, all sides syrups and milk are in a ramekin. But it also means you don't get much and you're constantly waiting on Waitstaff to bring more. Then there is the stupid stuff you get in these types of places like a rainbow flag on the door stating that everyone is welcome, I'm sure that helped ease absolutely no one's concerns about being able to order an egg here.
Start with the good. Ordered the huevos tostadas. Very tasty. Unfortunately that was the only thing good. It was Sunday morning so very busy. I was dining alone so I sat at the counter in order to not wait 30 minutes for a table. The only seat available was closest to the kitchen. After ordering with one of the many counter staff a drop of water landed on my head. I looked up and saw the AC vent was dripping. I scooted over as best I could but it continued to drip on my shoulder and arm every few minutes. It was ladden with grease. Sticky residue on my arm. See the pictures. I would have moved but the solo woman next to me was paying out and I decided to wait and shift seats. I informed the bar keeper but they did not care. The food came after 20-25 minutes and it did not have hash brows like I expected (the menu was clear I just didn't realize). I asked the bar keep for hash browns and he entered it in computer. After waiting 10 minutes and eating slow to wait on the hash browns I asked about the wait... He said the food comes out on its own. He has nothing to do with it. That's a serious disconnect between the kitchen and wait staff. Soooo after 20-25 minutes and a totally empty breakfast plate I ate my solo plate of potatoes. Lame. Management needs to do better. Clean the walls and fix the disconnect between kitchen and wait staff.
The wait was minimal, the staff were very friendly. Waitress asked if we had food allergies!!! OMG! French Toast!! Stands up to its name!! And the strawberry lavender lemonade- a unique blend of flavors that balance with each other perfectly.Food: 5/5
Great food and excellent service by Lauren. Love the variety on the menu! Extremely crowded and loud, and they are wanting to move people through. Not the best place to hang out for a relaxing breakfast and chill with friends. But, if you want an efficient delicious breakfast/brunch, I very much recommend!Food: 5/5
