Mesquite Pit - Weatherford

Mesquite Pit has THE best steak in Texas. We drive 1-2 hours (depends on which Mesquite Pit location), just to eat their delicious, always perfectly cooked meat.

Worst meal I've ever had at Mesquite. Pork chop was tough, the baked potato looked and tasted like it was cooked the day before the butter, sour cream and cheese was packed in with hot food and was like soup, salad was wilted and brown. It was take out so they forgot our dessert had to go back into town to pick up and I wish we hadn't bothered worse bread pudding I've ever had. Very disappointed we usually are very happy with the food.

Great food and service, friendly staff. Their chopped brisket is really good. And you will have to top it off with peach cobbler with ice cream.

This is a well established restaurant with a diverse menu! I love their ribeye steaks and fried mushrooms. Very reasonably priced and great people!

Both Texas BBQ and steakhouse choices. Little old school but it has been there for 30+ years according to the sign. Food good. Service good. Very good option.
