Dairy Queen - Weatherford

Took us longer to get 2 sundaes than it took for a family of 5 who came in behind us to get their hot food. We only got the sundaes after complaining. We basically got a dish of ice cream with almost no topping. We won't be back! Service: Dine in Food: 1 Service: 1

I was also let down by the lack of vegetarian-friendly sides and appetizers; most of the offerings revolved around chicken and beef, leaving little for those seeking meat-free options. The highlight of my visit, however, was definitely the ice cream. Dairy Queen is renowned for its soft-serve treats, and their signature Blizzards and sundaes certainly lived up to the hype. I indulged in a delicious Oreo Blizzard and relished every bite. The restaurant's atmosphere was typical of a fast-food chain, featuring a clean and comfortable seating area. The staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall pleasant experience. While I understand that Dairy Queen mainly caters to meat-eaters, it would be fantastic to see them expand their vegetarian options. Adding items like veggie burgers, alternative protein sources, or a greater variety of vegetarian-friendly sides would significantly improve choices for those who prefer not to consume meat. In conclusion, although Dairy Queen lacks in vegetarian options, it still delivers delightful ice cream treats that can satisfy anyone's sweet cravings. If you're a vegetarian, I would suggest looking for a more substantial meal elsewhere, but if you're in the mood for a tasty ice cream dessert, Dairy Queen is definitely worth a visit.

This place is always bustling, but I don’t mind the wait at all. Why? Because they offer fantastic customer service and the drinks are top-notch. Over the past year, they've really improved their service. The cashiers are incredibly friendly, and I appreciate how they manage everything while wearing those headphones on a busy street. They always take great care of me and even remember me! I hope they see this review and know they’re doing an excellent job! Also, a big thank you for the Oreo Hot Cocoa Blizzard—it's honestly amazing!

I entered the lobby at 8:55 PM and noticed that the employees were mopping the floor. They informed me that only the drive-thru was open. I decided to head out quickly to HEB to use the restroom and planned to return for some ice cream through the drive-thru. I got back at 9:09 PM, only to find that all the lights were off and the employees were still inside. The drive-thru sign said "Sorry, closed." It's frustrating, especially since the door indicates that they're open until 10 PM, which is also stated online. Overall, disappointing service for takeout.

This Dairy Queen is simply outstanding! Every time I visit, the staff welcomes me with friendly smiles and a warm "Hello," whether they’re behind the counter or in the dining area. They truly go the extra mile to ensure an exceptional dining experience. The DQ Dude and fries are always fresh, hot, and delicious, while the ice cream is consistently cold, creamy, and sweet. If you're in search of great food, excellent hospitality, and a delightful treat, this is the place to go. Be sure to try a Banana Split, Dilly Bar, shake, or even a dipped ice cream cone. In my opinion, this is the best Dairy Queen around. I hope to see you there soon!
