Contribuiți la feedbackA little off the beaten path, Kiln to Table was a very pleasant experience. As you walk in you're greeted with light music and a warm atmosphere. The woman at the counter was a delight to talk to and she gave recommendations on what she liked. The menu was broad, but not overwhelming. With both sweet and savory options for they're brunch menu, I ordered the breakfast sandwich and my wife, the french toast casserole. We both got the chai latte. The indoor sitting area wascomfortable and warm( as warm as it could be on a 15° morning). The decor was well put together and thoughtful. The music was loud enough to enjoy, but soft enough to not have to talk over. The lattes came out quickly and tasted excellent.Then the food arrived. My breakfast sandwich was the perfect size. The egg on it was over easy with bacon and strawberry jam on the toast. It all work splendidly and nothing tasted over bearing. The potatoes on the size we're good with thered hot sauce that was brought out. My wife's french toast casserole came out with syrup on the side, but it didn't need it. It was great without it. Over all a good experience and we'll definitely be back when it's warm to sit outside andsee some of their pottery.
Stopped by Waynesburg for the quick day trip. Found a few college students that recommended this place in town. It is placed on what would seem like a residential street. It is a cute little building with off street parking and a few picnic tables. The inside is a cute little Cafe. My friend had the Reuban sandwich and I chose the turkey bacon jam sandwich. The batista was kind enough to suggest I try some blackberry syrup in my jasmine green ice tea. And she was not wrong. Itwas delish! The food was amazing. I would never have thought to put strawberry jam on a turkey bacon havariti cheese sandwich. But it worked!! The sandwiches came with homemade chips. They were thin and crispy. The ranch dressing ishomemade and probably one of the best i have ever had. I would definitely recommand this place to anyone visiting the college or the town.
An off-the-path surprise. Some of the friendliest service you 're likely to encounter, in a comfortable indoor/outdoor eatery that ended up being in a neighborhood I played in as a child. Food selections were unique and all sounded great. While walking in, other customers stopped me with you HAVE to try the... and Oh, the ... is fantastic THAT tells you everything you want to hear about a restaurant. I had a roasted tomato frittata and a chicken salad and they weredelicious. So much so that I delayed eating them as long as possible. Everything tasted fresh. Great job Kiln to Table.
The Reuben sandwich is tasty, made with house-made Thousand Island dressing and served with chips on the side. The dining atmosphere is cozy both indoors and outdoors. They offer a children's menu with about four options, but no booster or high chair options are available. There are plenty of dessert options available for takeout or to enjoy in the restaurant. Overall, I would definitely return to this place.
Chai tea is the best!!!Bacon and turkey sandwich is the BOMB!!!
