The Lake - Waynesboro

Holy Moly! I don't know where to start! We went here to try their BYOB (Build Your Own Burger) and wounded to eat a new favorite place! Ask her to add it to a double, add Cheddar cheese, a fried egg and BACON!!! Our waitress was amazing, and the food was out of the chain. DEFINITELY will travel all the way from Augusta, Georgia only for their burgers... That's all. Hands down one of the best places I've ever eaten in Waynesboro! You won't disappoint!

Baked green tomatoes were great as the bacon wrapped scallops. I had no bacon at the time in almost a year, so maybe my opinion is stained, but I would definitely go again!

I went to the lunch buffet and treat myself and my uncle Ricky Scott for lunch @1200hrs; but the staff began, yours is no longer food for the buffet. So, I guess I ordered a beautiful cheese burger, as I saw that the restaurant with Burke County Court Staff, Burke County Sheriff's Deputies, Post Office Workers, Medical Staff and other customers pay at the checkout for a buffet lunch meal, as I enjoyed my cheese burger.

I had a cooking salad from here on the other day and it was not only visible beautiful, it was absolutely delicious! I never had a bad meal from here! This restaurant is still open for the love and memories of the owner of his dear mother. Give them a try!

Soooooooo good. We came when it wasn’t very busy but everything was fresh and excellent. I had fried shrimp and scallops shrimp were hand breaded and amazing and the scallops were grilled to perfection. If I was a local this place would on my favorites list for sure.
