Unbelievable food and service. We traveled over an hour to dine here and it was absolutely worth it. The mapo tofu is amazing!

I have eaten at Dan Dan several times and have never been disappointed. A reservation is highly recommended. Dining inside can be a little crowded and busy. During the nicer months the trick is to dine on their outside deck. Despite being nearish to the street it is private and quiet due to the privacy wall and planters. The Saturday night we were last there the deck was mostly empty despite lovely 80 degree weather. The menu is large and filled with authentic Chinese dishes. If you only want general Tso’s or kung po you may be disappointed. The level of spice is clearly indicated. The Dan Dan noodle with pork appetizer is to die for. Service is efficient and attentive

The kids were all about the String Green Beans—who knew veggies could be so fun? But the stars of the show were the Spicy Aromatic Pot with tofu and the Dry Pot Chicken. These dishes were pure magic: just the right amount of heat, with tofu and chicken that were tender, juicy, and oh-so-flavorful. Honestly, I’m still dreaming about them. Family favorite- never had a bad dish here. Servers are the best, and the chefs are amazing.

Very good food. I praise how fast the food comes out. This is a perfect spot for lunch while you’re at work and they will have you seated/fed/and out in about 35 mins. It’s also a good spot to chill too or for a nice dinner.
