The Openroad Brewery - Wayland

9-22-23, four of us stopped in for dinner and the food was excellent. The Cole slaw was made on site and the burgers were very tasty with a bit of zing! Not too hot with the peppers, but just enough to let you know, they are on the burger. The IPA Goo Goo Muck was cold so I had to order a second glass! As with most places post Covid, the service was slow, but we were not in a rush. $64 We make another stop in the near future!

I recently had lunch at this restaurant and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 4 out of 5.

I'll begin by saying that the beer at this restaurant is average, nothing special. However, the food was extremely disappointing. We ordered the $16 poutine and were served about 25-30 shoestring French fries, a minuscule amount of brisket, some generic-tasting beer cheese, and Sriracha. It was evident that the cheese was not made in-house and most likely came from a can of liquid cheese mixed with a bit of beer. I would suggest trying their beer, as they are a brewery, but I would definitely pass on the food.

This restaurant, located in a small town, offers basic deep-fried food options. While the food is decent, there is room for improvement in terms of the menu variety and drink options. Overall, nothing particularly outstanding here.
