I have never had such terrible sushi before and will never go back. I do NOT recommend this place as the food is not fresh specially the fish. Even the rice wasn’t freshly made and was from days before. Barroom wasn’t clean. And right before we leave there was a horrendous smell coming out of the kitchen area (we were sitting at the sushi bar and close to the kitchen door). I got stomach ache after eating here so stay away. Visited this place on May 27, 2023

The food was delicious, earning a solid 4 out of 5, while the service was exceptional, deserving a top rating of 5. The atmosphere also contributed to a pleasant dining experience, with a rating of 4.

I arrived and waited about 15 minutes for service and water before deciding to leave the local kitchen and drinks. We enjoyed our drinks and appetizers before a server even approached us at the other restaurant. However, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and arrived quickly. Overall, it was a great experience.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and decided to give this restaurant a try on a whim, and we were not disappointed at all. The sushi boat featured an impressive selection of nigiri and maki, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was delightful—I especially liked sitting next to the fish tank! In terms of specific menu items, I thought the tuna pizza was an excellent appetizer, while my wife loved the lychee martinis. It's safe to say that we're making Takara our go-to spot for date nights.
