Sogo Social House - Waxhaw

Today at 5:00 for dinner. The restaurant today had 3 more tables, 2 servers and a hostess.. We have our app pretty fast. The nachos were very good and I recommend them. It took 45 minutes to get our food. Menu is quite small and definitely not what I would think for a southern restaurant. The burgers were cooked coarsely. The chicken sandwich was okay, not terrible! The french french grumbled as if they were sitting in the oil and cold. They were served ice-cold and not seasoned. There was no salt and pepper on the table and the food needed great time. The server was not to be found. We needed something and when she came back, she brought the check. The Coleslaw was only crushed cabbage with a little dressing. Not worth it!

Fantastic nachos. Yes, the chips were stale, and the guacamole was brown, but the presentation was great and the flavors worked nicely together. Mac and cheese were buttery and cheesy. Although the cheese was probably running out and lumpy, the coating still looked great. Would recommend, but not go again.

We had brunch today and the food was delicious. Two of us loved the Spinach and Feta Omelett, which contains fruit and roasted potatoes. We also shared the French toast, which was just as delicious. The others had the Omelette plates, which also contain roasted potatoes and fruit. They also ordered 2 sides of sausage and they enjoyed both the plate and the sides. I can only say that everything was delicious! The staff was friendly and we definitely go back.

We went for Father's day brunch and loved it! The staff was attentive and the food was delicious! The breakfast tacos and the waffle plate were hit, and we loved the $3 mimosas! We'll go back soon!

Hands down the best fried pickles I've ever had. I'm no Southern Gourmet but these were crunchy and delicious. Amber the bartender/server was outstanding. Great spot right near Publix with a patio. It wasn't very busy for lunch on Thursday but I believe they just opened recently. Great spot that more people should know about! I'll be back.
