Emmets Social Table- Waxhaw

Emmets offers a truly unique dining experience and a delightful treat! The small plates are served as ordered, making them perfect for sharing among small groups. If you're dining with a larger group, it's wise to order several dishes to share across the table. The menu features incredibly unique and well-prepared dishes that are not only delicious but also enhance the overall experience. We especially loved the wings, nachos, and tri-tip. The service was outstanding; when we initially sat in a side room that was quite uncomfortable, the friendly waitress promptly accommodated our request to move. The entire atmosphere is vibrant and intimate, creating a wonderful setting for an enjoyable evening filled with great food, drinks, and entertainment. Highly recommended! We sampled a variety of dishes at Emmets, and they were all absolutely delicious! My personal favorite was the smoked mac and cheese with pulled pork—the cheese sauce is simply divine. We also enjoyed the mill fries, Korean wings, tenderloin, ribs, and short ribs. The food was served quickly and fresh. We can't wait to return soon!

Delicious chicken and waffles! The chicken is crispy and juicy without being greasy, and the sauces are tasty as well! The restaurant is quite spacious, and the menu features more shareable items than individual dishes, making it an ideal spot for two or more people to enjoy a meal together.

We will go back. Wanted to state that up front because the experience was a mixed bag. The food in general was very good, with an opportunity for the salad that was served with WAY too much vinegar dressing. The greeting at the front door was poor. The hostess looked like she was tired and wanted to be anywhere else. Took us to our table, dropped the menus and took off. Service was very slow, which was surprising because the place was half empty on a Sunday evening. Korean wings were excellent. Pork belly tacos were very good and the flatbread was good too. Margarita was too strong, but better than the reverse, right? We added a little water and stirred it up and were happy with it. The waiter, although slow, was pleasant and upbeat. Covid protocols were not evident with most of the staff, which is a minus, and one plate had a hair in it. Lots of issues, but the food flavors and recipes will bring us back to give it another try.

This place is at the top. Kaia did a phenomenal job to take care of the food was D-licious. We also had the BLT Beef Sliders who were very good. Very recommended!
