Ohana *sushi*ramen*poke - Waxahachie

I'm really sad to say that I've noticed a significant decline in quality over the past few years, especially given that prices have only gone up. The steak teriyaki might be the worst item on the menu—the meat appears gray and is incredibly stale; even if you order it medium rare or rare, there’s not a hint of blood inside. The tempura has also taken a turn for the worse; they recently changed the recipe, and it looks like they simply dipped it in flour. Additionally, the plate presentation is often messy and feels unfinished. It's such a shame because this place used to serve amazing dishes a few years ago.

This restaurant is fantastic! The drinks are superb, and the Passiontini is a must-try! The spicy garlic edamame is incredible as well! Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5.

I had a great experience at this sushi restaurant. The sushi and poke bowls were especially enjoyable. I highly recommend indulging in the octopus balls or fried squid – they're not only delicious but also fun to eat. Without a doubt, this is the best sushi spot in Waxahachie. The ambiance is pleasant, and the service is top-notch. I also noticed they offer a lovely selection of Japanese whiskeys; the Iwai Black was excellent and reasonably priced. This restaurant is perfect for families but still quiet enough for a romantic evening. I would have given it 5 stars, but I've had even better sushi experiences in Dallas, and I save that rating for them.

I'm from out of town but we stopped in and had dinner one night. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, but I was not a fan of how packed together the table arrangements were. We ended up at a table right next to the host stand/front door. I might have just been feeling claustrophobic from being cramped 5 deep in a Mitsubishi but I would have liked more room between myself and the walls/tables around me. Definitely recommend this place and will dine there again whenever I'm back in town.
