Best Northern Motel and Restaurant

We arrived at the restaurant at 3:08 pm and found the front door locked. After calling someone in our room, we were disappointed with the conditions. While we weren't expecting luxury, there were enough issues that made us consider leaving. The room had a thermostat and a register, but no AC. The toilet paper holder was held together with duct tape and there were brown stains on the bathroom door. The "couch" was covered in a dirty furniture cover, but the sheets appeared clean. We decided to stay due to exhaustion from driving and exploring. Despite having a fridge and microwave, we left at 8:30 with the front door still locked. Overall, we would not choose to stay here again.

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Everything about it is a gem. For those who love curry, you must try it as it was one of the best we've had in a long time. It was the perfect place to support while we were traveling. Thank you Lovprett and Gurmeet for a memorable meal.

I typically only write reviews for restaurants that are either very good or very bad. Unfortunately, this was a terrible experience. My husband ordered Jaeger schnitzel with sauce on the side, but what he received was an overdone pork dish that was tough and covered in a thin gray gravy. The plate was almost empty, with very little else on it. I had hoped to order fried potatoes and eggs, but the eggs were burnt on the bottom and the potatoes were greasy. We had already experienced several communication issues with our server, making us unsure of how to address our dissatisfaction with the dishes. This was by far the worst meal we had during our trip, and I feel it is important to warn other travelers.

Stop here on the way to North Western Ontario for an early dinner (5PM). So I avoided the dinner rush mass and was pleasantly greeted and served with excellent, polite and attentive service (again I was the only customer so admitted it was easy).... I ordered the butter chicken with rice and Naan bread. It came fast and the food was some of the best Indian food I had. If I stay longer, I'd just come back here. Thank you.

I rated it a 5 out of 5, for Lovpreet and Gurmeet’s hospitality! The motel room was clean, and beds comfortable! We travelled with our dog, so, also pet friendly! There was a nice area to walk your dog. The best part however was our...meal! The Butter Chicken amazing! One of the best I have ever had! My husband had chicken wings, also very good! We will definitely stop and stay, when will travel through Wawa again! Thanks so much Lovpreet and Gurmeet
