Lisa's Place - Waverly

Call when I left Walmart she answered I was asked to hold pulled in front of the restaurant still on hold watch for few minutes . 6 people walked out a lady cleaned a tabled and I'm still on hold . I watched the owner deliver food , take a order. So I walked in she cashed some one out then came to me and asked what I wanted I kidley said you might want to take the phone call on hold they have been waiting over 9 minutes. She got loud and said I have been busy I said well your other waitress could of taken the order she said we don't have one that was a customer cleaning if a table so she can sit down. I said sorry didn't know . She said what would you like I said 2 burgers she then got nasty and said and hour and half . I said really 1 1/2 for 2 burgers. I said I will go somewheres else. I'm sorry but if your that busy hire extra help. So glad they did not get the rail house they would never be able to keep up.

Great food, great prices, great atmosphere. It's the wait time that is the only downside for this restaurant. When calling to order a turkey club and fries the wait time was 1hr and a 1/2. Multiple times I have gone to pick up after the long wait time and it's still not even started. I understand places can be busy but their wait time extremely long. If there's too many orders they should just stop taking orders. When your ordering take out, they do not inform you until your done ordering of the wait time. Half the time I just order they tell me it will be an hour and I cancel the order. It is very inconvenient having to wait over a hour for any take out. It has not just been on one occasion. It's been every single time we have ordered In the past year. So we just stopped trying. It was our favorite spot. Now we know it's not even worth trying to order. I miss the food but it's not worth the wait.

If I could give zero stars I would. The kitchen area looks disgusting, the staff is nonchalant. We waited over an hour for a grilled cheese and meatball sub. I asked if it was almost ready because I had to get to work, she said he will be starting it soon . When I reviewed on Facebook the owner was nasty and rude.
