We recently took a trip to Tennessee to look for retirement property, and we made sure to stop by Sam's Diner before heading back to Florida. What a fantastic place it is! The atmosphere feels like one big family; everyone knows each other. The waitstaff were incredibly friendly, and you could really sense the warmth and love in this charming little gem. The food was delicious, and the coffee was outstanding! My partner and I always make a point to visit when we're back in Waverly. This diner is a must-visit, especially since it's highly rated by locals and those in the know!

I met a friend for lunch in this picturesque diner. the place is not in appearance, but the service and eating was excellent. I had a medium-sized, rare mushroom Swiss burger and my friend had made them well. they were both perfectly cooked and the woofer rings were crispy and delightful!

The waiter, Angel, went to get the coffee. The melted coffee was fantastic, and the food was good too. It’s a small place, but everyone is very friendly.

The service was so quick that I felt like I didn't need to explain much at all; they already understood what I needed. It felt like being with good friends I've known my whole life.

Amazing breakfast with the locals. Grits, BLT or Philly Cheesesteak are all excellent choice for breakfast. Small town feel, big good flavor.
