Dunlaps 's Down Home Cooking is the best thing that has ever happened to Waverly Hall,Ga. Anyone who says something negative about this little place must be a miserable person! The food is absolutely incredible! Nothing comes from a can. Nothing she uses her Grandmother 's recipes! It is all fresh and Tina and Heywood Dunlap go far beyond any service I 've ever received! Fried /baked chicken, collards cabbage all fresh vegetables ,be sure to ask for the fried cornbread flapjacks! This food is absolutely delicious and I promise you will not leave there hungry! This woman hand squeezes her own lemonade every day ! They are the kindest people I 've every dined with ! Want a real meat hamburger ? You 'll get it! With homwbatteted fresh onion rings .. and if you 're lucky you 'll get a piece of 7 lay chocolate cake , lemon cake or sweet potatoes pie .. Thank goodness they found Waverly Hall to settle their business in! Try it ! You won 't be sorry ! Oh.. all food is made on order so it 's hot and fresh .. fried pork crops and chicken. Hamburger steak. And the best catfish and coleslaw. Fridays is all you can eat buffet seafood .. Saturdays ribs and boat butts! There is nothing but gracious people,great service and more food than you can eat!

This little hole in the wall.Ha ha they opened with our menu and the food is too much money and the staff look at you like you crazy. They have to over do it to get business in the door. This dark server kept asking me is it good is it good while she continue talking about other restaurants in the area badly. I DONT LIKE THAT! I will continue going to the other local restaurants . SOUL food soul **** small place .

My business is nearby this new restaurant and our employees are all raving about the food. They have fried chicken, wings, burgers, bbq, soul food, and a Meat and Veggie buffet. They are a hole in the wall, straight country restaurant with delicious comfort food. The dressing was phenomenal, baked chicken was moist and seasoned perfectly, cabbage was off the charts, and the serving was ample. The price is very reasonable as well. The staff were very friendly and service was good. I would add a 6th star if I could.

Really enjoy eating here!! The family is so friendly and the good is AWSOME! I try something different every time an have not found anything we haven't enjoyed!!!
