We have been visiting the good earth for several years. his great value eating and exemplary service. eating is excellent every time! would recommend to everyone in the opposite.

We have been ordering from this place for years, albeit occasionally. The take away we had yesterday was full of flavour and very much enjoyable. I suggest ignoring people that post single star reviews based on a food standards rating which is nothing to do with their personal experience. Also there is a scale of 1 to 5 I'm not sure there is a need to maliciously leave 1 star reviews unnecessarily.

This place was run by some Malaysian Chinese people for years and was very decent, but seems to have changed hands a few times in more recent years and has been very inconsistent. After a long absence we tried again six months ago and the fried rice was SOGGY! Then my wife tried again recently and the fried rice was absolutely fine. So last night we got take away again, and again the fried rice was SOGGY!!! Absolutely awful!! How can a Chinese take away ruin fried rice!!?? They were busy on a Friday night, which might have made the difference, but this absolutely seemed like it had been pre-cooked and refrigerated. I also specified very clearly not to add water chestnuts or green peppers in the yellow bean chicken (he was clear as he asked if it was an allergy and I said no, we just really dislike those two ingredients) but then when we got home we found it was FULL of them!! So a shockingly bad experience all around. I am only giving them two stars as I hope they will get their act together. Maybe we’ll give them one more chance in another six months or so, but three strikes and you’re out.

Have eaten in the restaurant a few times latterly having take aways . Great,Food Nice People and sensibly priced Keep up the good work
