Uyen Vietnamese Restaurant - Waverley

We had dinner at Uyen Vietnamese Restaurant on a Thursday night and it was still busy even though it was late. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. I had never tried deboned chicken wings before, but they were incredibly tasty. The dish only had chicken, so you may want to order something with vegetables as well. We also shared a plate of stir-fried mixed vegetables with tofu, which had a wide variety of veggies and was very flavorful. The rice serving was so large that it was more than enough for the both of us.

This restaurant is amazing! The food was delicious and extremely fresh. I ordered the stir-fried vegetables and it was fantastic. The variety of veggies in the dish was perfect. The waitress and staff were incredibly friendly, and I will definitely be returning. Thank you!

This place is worth the 20 km drive just for their delicious broth. The owners, who are former Petro Chemical Engineers, serve the best food with simple and honest flavors. We visit when possible during Covid and always support our local Vietnamese restaurant. Make sure to give them feedback on their broth, whether it's thin or wonderful—they value your input.
