La Table Grecque - Waver

The Greek Table seemed to be a disappointment from the moment I walked in. The decor was dull and uninviting, with artificial flowers and dark walls. The bread served was dry and lacking in flavor, with only green olives for accompaniment. The table wine was average at best. The mezze appetizer was underwhelming, with small portions and lackluster flavors. The main course, a chef's skewer grill, was decent but not cooked to my liking. The service was lacking, as the accompaniments never arrived and I had to wait for the check. Overall, the experience was forgettable and I won't be returning. The bill was higher than expected, but the offered Metaxa helped to ease the disappointment slightly. Goodbye, Greek Table.

We are familiar with the three Greek restaurants located in the quaint pedestrian streets of Wavre: The Caryatides, Zorba, and Georges. Each of these restaurants offers quality service, a great selection of food, and a pleasant atmosphere. Personally, I have a slight preference for The Greek Table due to the exceptional hospitality of the owners, who truly go above and beyond to make their customers feel welcome and appreciated.

This restaurant is one of the best Greek restaurants that I have ever been to! The owner greets you warmly and is also the chef, ensuring that the food is of top-notch quality. The dishes are fresh, well-presented, and the service is quick. They even offer complimentary starters. In the summer, it is delightful to sit on the outdoor terrace. I have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed.

I had a joy to discover this Greek restaurant of wavre. Alas! disappointed by the smile of the boss...can be kind...the meal (entrance and flat) below everything! no presentation in plates (seats 1/2 broken !!!, lack of freshness in the mezzé.. even if the frame wants a little modern.... the Greek atmosphere is not at all present......the note is present in a tajine. Bye!

The Greek table flooded while waiting for my main dish I write my first impressions. The place doesn't make me travel. artificial flowers, dark walls and decoration on the walls and tables just as depressing. the hot gray bread that falls in the crumbs with green olives only or is the Greek welcome with good bread, salt and black and juicy olives a passable kidney as table entrance the mezze is minimalist: a leaf of vine, a gambas a little festa. the cow is probably a little bit of unbelieving calamars and the raw limit of the next dish is a chef skewer grill. Although cooking does not match my order, the meat is good. I don't expect the check, but I already know I'm not coming back. bye the note is salted compared to the meal. The little metaxa offered helps pass. But just!
