Stopped for lunch. So glad we did m Huge portion, had scampi, hubby had cod and chips just over£21.00. Nice place quick service still busy for a wonter morning

The food served looked lovely, but we were very disappointed that there was nothing we could eat, not even the chips. The outdoor seating area wasn’t a no smoking area, which maybe it should be.

Yet again fantastic fish and chips. My wife had rock and chips I had the cod, both with chip and a gherkin staff very friendly.

Fish and chips is 10/10. It's perfection. As is the scampi. Northerners, southerners and an American in our group all in agreement. Only thing missing for me is a can of cream soda

We visit Southwold half a dozen times a year with the sole purpose of time on the beach and the promise of some decent fish and chips … on this occasion though and to be fair the last couple of times it’s just been really very average at best. The chips were decent and the team are lovely but the batter has really gone down hill. It was soggy and cloying and just not good at all. Such a shame as it used to be the main attraction but gone done hill in 2023. Won’t be back in a hurry as we can get bad fish chips without the 1.5hr journey . Come on Guy’s let’s get back to former glory please.
