The hotel in downtown Wausau is very well-maintained and clean. It's conveniently located near the city square, surrounded by a variety of bars and restaurants. There are pleasant walking paths that showcase beautiful churches and historic buildings. Overall, I would rate the rooms a solid 4 out of 5.

This hotel has a great location in downtown and offers a pleasant stay. The customer service at the front desk and during dinner was excellent. The rooms are modern and well-maintained. There are several restaurants in the area. While the hotel restaurant is on the pricier side for dinner, the food is exceptionally good! Overall, I would rate the rooms a 4 out of 5.

While it may not be a five-star hotel, it definitely surpassed our expectations for a three-star establishment. The staff was excellent, and the rooms were clean and spacious. There are also plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. Rating for the rooms: 4/5.

My Dad was moved into hospice and recently passed. I put my life on hold so I could spend the last few months with my Dad. I stayed at the Jefferson Street Inn majority of the time I wasn’t staying in the nursing home room with my Dad. They got to know me, my family, and my pup so well. They were so accommodating and kind to all of us. When I stayed there this last week to lay my Dad down to rest they were sad, kind, and empathetic. They don’t know this, but they helped me emotionally during this very difficult time. Chris was so fast to respond to my “at a moments notice” need for a room. Even while he was recovering himself! This hotel and this staff is top notch and I’m so grateful for each and every person I had interaction with.Thank You staff and Jefferson St Inn. You made a horrible situation a little easier to navigate and Finley is going to miss you too.

Rooms, service, EVERYTHING about this hotel was perfect! In town for AirVenture Cup Race. Event spaces were beautiful. Right downtown with easy access to everything and local small airport.Walkability: Shopping, food, drinks, salon, massage, all right here
