Union House - Waukesha

I took my husband to Union House for his birthday, and we were absolutely amazed! The food was outstanding. We started with a cheese board and shared a French onion soup, which was the best I've ever tasted. Then we both ordered steak, and my husband claimed it was the best ribeye he's ever had. The atmosphere was ideal for a special celebration, and the service was exceptional. To top it off, they surprised us with a chocolate mousse for his birthday! We will definitely be returning!

If you're seeking a fine dining experience to celebrate a special occasion (or just because), the Union House in charming Genesee Depot is the place to go. From the food to the service and the ambiance, everything was exceptional. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there on a Friday night, and it was truly memorable. Each dish we ordered—starting with the French onion soup, followed by the salad, and culminating in the main course—was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. We enjoyed our meal while listening to the soothing sounds of artists like Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and Rosemary Clooney. Our server, Adeline, was delightful and attentive to our every need. Although we chose the schaum torte for dessert, the restaurant generously surprised us with a chocolate mousse, which was a lovely finishing touch. We are definitely looking forward to returning for future celebrations! As for parking, it's easily accessible.

This restaurant is the ideal spot for any special occasion. Our server, Beth, was attentive and warm, sharing all the specials with us and providing plenty of time to savor our meal. I ordered the squash carbonara, while my boyfriend chose a deer meat dish. Both entrées were outstanding, bursting with incredible flavors and richness. For our soup, we selected the lobster bisque, which was delightful and topped with a beautifully crispy, flaky crust. For dessert, we enjoyed banana bread and pistachio crème brûlée, both of which were exceptional. The restaurant's ambiance truly sets it apart; the soft lighting and candlelit tables created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere. I will definitely be back again soon!

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! It's the ideal spot for celebrating special occasions like birthdays or anniversaries. You truly feel pampered while you're there! They craft an excellent Old Fashioned to kick things off, and their wine selection is impressive as well. All the potato dishes are superb! The special side dish was macaroni and cheese, and it was delightfully gooey and indulgent. My steak was cooked to perfection! I can't wait to come back for another wonderful dining experience!
