Pepe's Mexican Restaurant - Waukegan

Haven't been there in years because food quality was poor. Went yesterday to give them another shot. Food was freezer burned and taste was horrible. Chips were not fresh and the drinks tasted like cheap cool aid. Will not be recommending to no one. Timesare tough but you must keep quality of food.

Great service and amazing food in so glad they have one close to me my parents used to take me there all the time. #nostalgia

I order a burrito and 3 tacos..never seen a mexican burrito whit just meat,tomatoes and green peppers..tacos well no meat at all..i paid 25 for this and dammmmm what a poor quality for the price

Fajitas were good. Wait staff was quick with service. Hot sauce was spiced well. I will visit this restaurant again when I'm back in the area.

The only reason I gave them 2 ???? is because the waitress was very nice and attentive. I've eaten at Pepe's location in Chicago and the food was very good but it wasn't at this location ????
