Deacon's Restaurant Bar At The Golf Farm

It was extremely pleasant. First impression was that it was going to be sub par. But it was a pleasant surprise. The food was much better than expected. The blueberry cheesecake was the surprise of the day. And I don't normally like cheesecake. But I couldn't stop eating it.

Had the fish fry dinner. Fish was excellent. The baked potato was perfectly done. Side slaw was good the roll, was nice and warm. Brownie and ice cream dessert excellent, totally shareable. The place was packed but the service didn't skip a beat. Excellent.

The food was forgettable maybe even ok but that's all. It definitely didn't live up to the hype. I will try again but for the breakfast this time.

A great place for a casual dinner with friends or family... Service is OUTSTANDING... Food is really good!

We said we'd try it. OK still better bar food to us. Not much to speak of and don't do the golf so just doesn't work for me. Tried food 2x now. Not for us. Update: 2 years 6 am glad to say that although we have been there for golf or drinks, I have eaten there again 2x in the last 3 months. I'm not sure what happened , but the food we have had has been good, really good. Hopefully, it was bad timing pandemic silly
