Contribuiți la feedbackI used to come here when I lived in Waterloo at their previous locations. The food is as amazing as ever. Highly recommend the tabouleh, and the chicken schwarma. So good
The food was excellent! I had spicy chicken with bone with spicy rice, and small salad that was amazing! My daughter had boneless chicken with rice and a small salad. She said it was very good.Thank you much for excellent meal!
We wanted to find a place with lamb and rice, you know, that savory gyro style meat over seasoned rice with white sauce. Found these guys at the International festival and they said they had it. We sampled their food there and it was good, so I sent my partner to pick some up shortly before 5 on a week day evening. He said he went in to an empty place with a guy sweeping and he said the owner would be back. Waited twenty minutes and the owner returned and took his order. What we got was so disappointing! For $14 each, we had a container of plain unseasoned basmati, and could literally count the number of rectangular pieces of meat on top. Some lettuce on the side. I wish we took a photo it was almost comical to see, after having eaten at other halal places in the area. My partner thought he bit into a piece of bone but it was just very dried out meat from the edges. I really hoped we'd found a place closer to home than Aria Kabob, which is fantastic but half way to Schenectady but with the halal palace at Troy Kitchen gone, we will have to keep searching.
The food is good, but inconsistent. I always get chicken karahi, the first couple times was great, the last few times the sauce was different and maybe 2 bites of chicken, all bones. Disappointing.
As soon as we stepped into the restaurant an unpleasant smell welcomed us. The tables weren’t cleaned. Very unhygienic. Turned around and left.
