While the atmosphere and the waitress where very lovely, the food was spoiled.I had the chicken shawarma plate and it was good, the falafel sandwich was average. Zaatar fries where soggy and some potatoes where still undercooked and green. But we were still having a great night until we ordered desserts. The rice putting was sour and was recklessly covered with a ton or cinnamon powder and The sfouf cake was moldy. Literally green mold circles on its bottom. I am very disappointed with this place. There must be something wrong with the cook and management. it’s very unfortunate

Quality and authenticity is the experience here. My family brought me here for my birthday and it was perfect! There is so much to say, food was beyond good. Teta means grandmother and the dishes here had the warmth and flavor of true traditional recipes, so in my opinion they live up to the name. Every course, every plate served with warm and friendly service. Gluten free pita (they need 24hr advance notice to prepare) and they even brought out a cake at the end of the meal. Arabic coffee and of course baklava. Was heading to the area for errands with my family and stopped in for a late lunch. The food was very authentic and delicious. Coincidentally it was just a day after the article in the Times Union ?. Very nice place to try authentic cuisine.Parking: If you go for dinner you might have to hunt for a spot to park, the lot isn't huge but just big enough for the size of the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Seemed kid friendly and laid back environment. But if you have picky eaters for children you might want to come alone.

What a lovely surprise to have homemade, delicious Lebanese food with amazing service in our area. Love the complimentary homemade pita, olive oil dip and pickles olives. 5!
