On The Hill Cafe - Watervliet

The staff at On The Hill is fantastic—energetic, friendly, and quick! The food is excellent too. I highly recommend trying the sourdough batter and baked onions on the potatoes. It’s a little extra, but definitely worth it. My daughter claimed it was the best French toast she’s ever had. The portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable.

We visited for the first time and had brunch, and everything was delicious! The eggs were cooked exactly how we wanted them, the homemade fries were possibly the best we've ever had, and the pancakes were simply outstanding! The prices are fantastic, and there's no way you'll leave hungry! It was quite busy, but the staff was efficient and swift! We’ll definitely be back!

This has got to be the best place to eat in all of the capital region. Every single member of the staff is friendly, funny, and so so helpful. I always get breakfast here. The portions are fantastic and the prices just can't be beat anywhere. Everyone comes around to make sure your coffee is always topped off. Never had anything burnt or that tasted weird. This whole rush run is always on point. I don't think I can see enough great things about this place. If you're looking for a new spot, this is it. No doubt.

This establishment has by far the best Chef Salad in the capital District, it is awesome and especially if it's prepared by the lovely lady by the name of Dawn. The service here is always good , the food here is always wonderful, never had anything we didn't like at this restaurant, be it breakfast or lunch. Once you try it, you will definitely make many return trips!
