Governor's Bakery - Waterville

The diner has a cozy, homey atmosphere. The food is excellent, fairly priced, and of high quality. The waitstaff are friendly, attentive, and patient. The cleanliness is outstanding.

Brenda was fantastic! The banana bread French toast came in a HUGE portion! It was delicious, but I ended up making three meals out of it, and I usually have a healthy appetite.

This restaurant has dried it. the food was excellent and the service was even better. I wish I knew the name of my server. she was so delightful, funny and loved her job. I am so impressed by this place. kudos to her and her personal. Many thanks that they are and make a huge impression. we will definitely be back. more special thanks for our server. she was extraordinary and made us feel at home.

Had a date night at governor's in waterville had the Memphis burger and it was delicious highly recommended if you like bacon that is and for dessert we got the lemon blueberry cake

This was a tough one to decide how to rate. Food was a 2. Service was 4. Soup was cold and the wrong meal was brought out to me. They did make it right but the rest of the party had already finished by the time it came out. Thus was definitely an error by the kitchen not the front end staff. We got to keep the incorrect dish but that 's only because they would have thrown it out. Nothing further done by the staff and no visit from the manager. The manager themselves should have come over. With that said. Our server was fantastic and all staff friendly. Great family environment, which is why we will be back.
