The food is incredibly tasty, and it was cooked right in front of us, enhancing the enjoyable atmosphere. Although the prices are quite high, the experience makes it worthwhile. Just a heads up: they don’t accept credit cards, so be sure to bring cash or a check! Also, while walk-ins are accepted, it's advisable to book an appointment ahead of time. Their menu seems to change throughout the week, so calling in advance would be a smart move.

IVisited Kareem with my wife, and we tried the Pita Hummus, a salad, some grilled chicken, and a vegetarian dish (which my wife ordered, but I can't recall the name). Everything was outstanding—fresh, simple, and healthy. I would definitely recommend this place!

This is one of the best restaurants I've ever visited. The experience feels very personal, as you can watch your food being prepared and have conversations with the chef. The food is authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and absolutely phenomenal. I highly recommend it!

We took a wonderful cooking class with Ahmad in October 2016. Ahmad walked us through the steps for making Lahmahjun and Zatar bread, tabouleh, and Fattet Hummus. The cooking class was fun and interactive. We strained the chick peas, learned how to cut parsley properly, rolled out the dough, and taste tested items as they were completed. Ahmed's class was also interspersed with short lessons on Syria's rich history. At the end of class, we dined on the Fattet Hummus and tabouleh and were treated to some delicious pomegranate juice and Kannafa for dessert. Overall, the cooking class was very enjoyable for the 11 participants. We walked away with a great appreciation for Syrian cuisine and will be sure to return.
