Five Guys - Watertown

Haven't had Five Guys in 7 years since it's not in my area. Loved the food and the staff was fun and friendly!

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The burger and hotdog were amazing, and the fries were excellent as well. They offer a wide variety of toppings, with the grilled mushrooms being a standout. The service was friendly, fun, and very knowledgeable. This has become one of our favorite stops while traveling on I-81, whether heading south or north. We even tried a milkshake for the first time, and it was delicious!

I had heard that the French fries at this restaurant were amazing, and they truly lived up to the hype. If a restaurant is focused on a few key items, they better excel at them. The fries were so flavorful, with the Cajun spice genuinely capturing the essence of Cajun cuisine, not just a bland imitation. But then came the burger. At first glance, it seemed simple, wrapped in plain aluminum foil, and didn’t look like most restaurant burgers. But then I took a bite. I literally exclaimed, “Shut up!” and slapped the table in disbelief, causing the kitchen staff to giggle. The burger, crafted by Christie, was astonishing, and the fries were expertly made by Carson. You can truly taste the pride and craftsmanship in the food they serve. You might have had enjoyable burgers before, maybe even at Five Guys, but nothing compares to the joy of experiencing a freshly made burger right when it’s served. Don’t take it to go—it's meant to be enjoyed immediately. Eating it in your car will only diminish the experience. Sit inside the restaurant, soak in the great music, and savor the entire atmosphere. If you opt for takeout, the fries won't retain their crispness, and the burger will lose its incredible flavor within minutes. I’m aware that I’m rambling, but the food here is so extraordinary that it could transform your life. The lobby is consistently spotless, maintained every few minutes—it's a health inspector’s dream! The restroom is designed with privacy in mind, and the entire experience at this establishment is outstanding. This place will spoil you because you'll struggle to find another combination of dedicated staff and food that is so passionate about being enjoyed. Plus, they have free peanuts!

Of all the Five Guys locations we've visited, this one had the longest wait time, even though it wasn't particularly busy. On the bright side, the food was tasty, and all our orders were accurate. The restaurant itself was quite clean, including the restrooms.

I've been to Five Guys in various states, but this was my first visit to one in this state, and they did not disappoint! Each location has a consistent taste and appearance, complete with peanut oil and bags of potatoes around. The staff at this location was exceptionally friendly! Everyone was warm and seemed to genuinely enjoy their work. I didn't even mind that my food took a few extra minutes because the staff was so cheerful and positive! Plus, the portion of fries always amuses me—two large fries could easily feed a family of five!
