Zeal Vietnamese - WATERMANS BAY

The food is fantastic, and the service is quick and attentive. It's a great local spot—I visited with some friends, and I would definitely return with my family. The menu is extensive, and I look forward to trying more dishes.

After driving past on a Saturday night and seeing this place fully booked out I decided I had to try it. Upon arrival service was slightly awkward and unorganised but after settling in and ciphering through the large menu we ordered. Went with the plum sauce duck which was up there with the most tastiest duck I’ve had to date and by far the largest portion of the specialty meat. To pair we had the satay beef which was also great. A nice little spot to go for a casual meal or catchup with friends in a good location!

The salt and pepper duck dish was a real treat! Crispy, spicy and served on greens with lots of little tasty bits. Highly recommend!

Such a hidden gem! Although a little noisy and crammed inside, ask for a table in the enclosed alfresco area for more space. The food here is very authentic, cooked promptly and with fresh ingredients. The rice paper rolls, Chef Special Fried Ginger Fish and stir fried noodle dishes are great. The Chef Special boneless roast duck with shitake mushroom is also super tender and yummy. It is licenced, has a bar with a selection of drinks. I recommend giving this a try! You will love it.
