Banks Fish Shop - Waterlooville

This stylish fish and chip shop caught my eye when we visited the local area. It boasts an impressive selection and features a beautifully designed interior seating area. We opted for the classic fish and chips, and I was delighted by the generous portion size—it was just right, not overwhelming. The crispy batter on the fish and the fresh, fluffy chips were served neatly in a lovely box. Plus, the prices were very reasonable. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with the experience!

The dining experience was excellent, and the restaurant was quite busy during my visit. Most of the staff remained calm and professional despite the hustle and bustle. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that I witnessed an unfortunate situation where a staff member and a young employee had a disagreement at the exit of the fritters area. This was poorly managed, and staff members should not be treated like that, especially in front of customers.

Beautiful fish tasting, but personally I would rather taste and their sausages are wonderful. they give you more and more chips than you need, so you're always stuffed after that.

Best chips for miles! great quality, generous portions, beautiful small dining tables with sauces etc., and really nice, friendly and friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. Food was wrapped so well that it was still warm when I got home 45 mins after leaving on a cold December evening. They were freshly cooked and tasted great
