He assured GF precautions without hesitation and even asked the bartender to avoid handling beer before preparing my cocktail. There were ample options to choose from. Best news was the GF fryer. Plus, some burgers (house made! are safe with the GF or lettuce bun, although not officially marked GF. The food was well-crafted but a bit oversalted for my preferences. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the meal, the service, the classy ambience, and had a lovely time.
All of their mains and multiple appetizers are gluten free, and they seemed to be knowledgeable about cross contamination. My plate was brought out separately and server confirmed again at that time that it was gluten free. Only one gluten free dessert option , but it was delicious. No gluten free beer available but cider, wine and cocktail options.
Parking is free for those dining at the restaurant. Amazing service and good entrees. Their take on a poke bowl wasn’t good and calamari was soggy and very chewy. Overall great dining atmosphere and would be going back myself.
The best meal I've had in a very long time. The customer service and professionalism were 10/10. The food was 10/10. I can't wait to go back!
Coming up to a dozen meals here now. Best dish is the fish and chips with a draught beer. Food generally reliably good but with several caveats. Always an interesting beer selection.<br/ <br/ Many dishes come with an extra flourish of spice, herb or plated up with garnish, so people with allergies need to do full disclosure and quiz the server thoroughly before ordering. Not every allergen spice or treatment is listed on the menu. <br/ <br/ Desserts are usually from the 'Death By Chocolate ' school of cooking; there 's rarely a fruit tarte and certainly nothing is small. If you don 't like chocolate, your choice is crème brulée.<br/ <br/ Tea is terrible. Everything is by Tazo, who specialize in herbal tisane, not actual tea. Bring your own. Coffee is quite a good blend. <br/ <br/ Communication between management, kitchen and servers is inconsistent about what 's being served when. Table service is polite, helpful and cheery, if a little under-informed.
