Phil's Grandsons Place - Waterloo

This lively restaurant has a bustling dance floor and I have to say, the best pitcher of drinks I've had in a while. The DJ and music really draw you in. Make sure to check out Phil's if you're in Waterloo!

The bar is decent, but somewhat lackluster. It's a great spot to hang out with friends. The disco atmosphere is lively, but the DJ could have been better at getting the crowd excited. This was my first taste of the nightlife in Waterloo (I'm from Montreal) and I was pleasantly surprised.

This restaurant is one of those timeless dive bars that appeals to people of all ages. While it may not be the cleanest or most upscale option, it is definitely affordable. The security staff may be a bit questionable, but when I was in college, going in with $30 and coming out completely drunk was a financial choice I didn't regret. I will always look back fondly on the loud music and late nights spent with friends at this place.

Group of four of us went and tried to eat the new one. they were good. love the most beautiful beer of phils. we will definitely be back!
