Frites - Fries With Benefits - Waterloo

Great selection! Put a lot of effort into making it tasty. Service is great and very quick. Can be pricey but definitely worth the try. Lack of seating may also be an issue.

If you love kimchi you NEED to try frites kimchi poutine. I go there regularly just for that. It's spicy and soooo good. They don't give you that much meat but it's still really filling. The buffalo chicken poutine is great too! Kind of pricey but filling and pretty much the same as walking across the smoke's poutine but with better choices.Warning: their waffle sandwhiches are awful

I walked in here with a friend because I was craving fries/poutine and this place seemed really inviting from the outside. It has a pretty attractive exterior. However, it was very unimpressive when we walked in with one person working there, no music and the entire place smelled like a public restroom. It suppressed my appetite and I ended up not ordering anything.

First impression was ok- small place probably does more takeout then anything. Options were decent I got the crispy chicken poutine, could have done without the chicken because the fries were better on their own! It's so hard to find a good fry around here but I think I just did. Will come again to try just plain fries with one of their many sauces.

Visited the Waterloo location and was awfully disappointed with the quality of the food. I ordered a crispy chicken waffle sandwich and frites on the side. The chicken was terrible in flavour (probably because it was low quality) and my sandwich pretty much just fell apart because the waffles are soft. The frites (fries) were okay but they could have been better. Their sauces are just mixed with mayo...litres of it. I won't be visiting this franchise again.
