No it’s not fancy but Ethels is the best place in town, best burgers (go on Monday) and definitely get the pulled pork nachos. Yeah if you’re going healthy this might not be the place.

Had a lovely date night at Ethel’s! The food was really good, the patio breezy, staff were attentive. We shared the nachos and the brisket platter. My date particularly enjoyed the beans (had pulled pork mixed right in! . Portions were good and everything that should...be hot was hot, and the cold items cold. Definitely going back!

This is our go-to diner. Great food, and a great environment. We usually go on a Saturday, but we tried the burger Monday special and it is probably the best restaurant burger we've had in Waterloo. Server was excellent and the prices are bang on....We will return.
