Chic Pea Pita Grill - Waterloo

The food at this restaurant was terrible. The falafel sandwich was dry and the bread was not the traditional SAJ bread as described; it was actually a tortilla. The pickles were limp and old, barely able to be held. The washrooms were extremely filthy and disgusting. I have never been so repulsed and disappointed in my life. The washrooms were in disarray, with garbage everywhere, and overall the place was very dirty. There were flies in both the washroom and the restaurant, indicating a lack of cleanliness. I paid $14 for a cold, stale falafel wrap with inedible bread. The kitchen was chaotic and it was evident that no one cared about the quality of the food or the cleanliness of the restaurant. It felt like the place had been abandoned. There was no passion for food or atmosphere in the restaurant. It was overpriced for a sandwich that didn't even come with any side dishes. I definitely would not recommend this place and I will never be returning.

Although we were hesitant about dining in an empty restaurant on a Friday evening, we are thrilled that we decided to stop here for dinner! We ordered the charcoal chicken with rice, fries, and hummus, as well as the meat manaeesh with a side of fresh pita. We were very pleased with the flavor and portion sizes of our dishes. Each component was delicious on its own, and they all complemented each other well. We are excited to return and try some other items on the menu!

I have ordered food from this restaurant a few times, mostly for takeout. The food has been good in the past, but my last online order was problematic. Their device turned off, causing my order to not be ready when I arrived to pick it up. The platter was missing a yalanjee and the pita bread they provided seemed like something you would find at a large chain store. I was disappointed, especially since I was expecting freshly made pita for the price I paid. Overall, it was not a satisfying experience and I am unsure if I will order from here again.

Very tasty food. The Arabic plate is amazing with tons of chicken shawarma and the wrap is bigger than everywhere else. They give tons of garlic sauce which I love.Their shish kebab is pretty bad. Only 4 small pieces of meat, not worth it. Their shawarma pizza had quite a salty bread.

We came here for picking up takeout food. We arrived and ordered food, and they said it will take 20mins. We came back after walking for 20mins, and they still hadn't started making our food. We had to wait for an hour to get our food, when the restaurant was pretty empty (9 people only). Food was ok we tried the pizza, shawarma bowl and falafel saj wrap saj wrap was pretty good, rest was ok. Would probably visit when i have an hour to waste.
