Newton's Paradise Cafe - Waterloo

We love visiting Newton’s Paradise Cafe whenever we're in Waterloo. The coffee is consistently hot and has a pleasant medium roast. Their hash browns are perfectly crispy, and the service is quick and friendly. To make your visit smoother, be sure to download the Passport parking app for street parking before you arrive. You'll also appreciate the accessibility features in the bathroom, including a wide doorway suitable for wheelchairs and a changing table for little ones. After your meal, don’t forget to check out the charming gift shop just across the street.

I visited for the first time and I will definitely return. The food was outstanding and the staff was excellent.

My wife declared that the pancakes were the best she’s ever had, and the kids agreed, saying the pancakes were soft and delicious. I tried the country fried steak with pepper gravy, which is not something I would usually order, but I wanted to try something new. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for me. Our server, Kelsey, did an excellent job. We sat outside, although the fans from the kitchen were a bit loud. Our food arrived 24 minutes after our drinks, which I thought was a reasonable wait. Interestingly, when we walked in, a guy had said, “good luck—it’s very slow,” but it was just fine for us. Others who arrived right before us received their food quickly as well. Overall, it's a good place to eat.

Largest, crispiest pork tenderloin ever! Always a treat a good time. Relaxed atmosphere friendly workers. Good for my vegetarian friends as well! Not that easily found everywhere.

Stopped in for birthday breakfast. It was busy, but service was great. Awesome **** Mary's and a shared breakfast worked well for us!
