Carlos O'kelly's - Waterloo

The taco salad should have been included, but it wasn't. The steak fajitas came without tortillas, which was disappointing. I'm relieved I didn't leave a tip beforehand, especially since they couldn't even handle a simple order correctly, and the restaurant was only about 25% full at 6:00 PM. The service is generally quite poor.

The service and food were excellent, but the area around and beneath our table was quite messy, with bits of fries and tortilla chips scattered on the floor. I had to request the server to clean it up, which put a bit of a damper on what was otherwise a great experience. We will definitely give them another try in the near future.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The staff is excellent and provides great assistance with menu recommendations. The location is easily accessible from major streets, and the restaurant is clean and well-maintained. Their salsa recipe is particularly impressive, striking the perfect balance with a mild heat.

Our waitress was very nice. The place was clean. The food was okay, it was a little hot for me. The price was the average price.

Not very good. The very crabby hostess couldn't even muster a smile. Welcome to Carlo's! Not the way to greet a customer. The margs taste like lime flavored water. Is there any tequila at all in this? Waitress seemed to be bothered by spending more than a millisecond at the table even though it was not busy. More Carlos friendly service? Food was ok. Typical flavor less Tex Mex mush. Not recommended. Next time Taco Bell. :
