Doc's On The Fox - Waterford

A great choice today. Our intended destination was closed for the day, so we sat in the parking lot looking for a full meal. Doc's had what we wanted. Started with out Maker's Old Fashioneds. Ordered Spicy Fried Shrimp for an appetizer. The breading is very delicate, had to scoop it up out of the spicy Sweet and Sour sauce. The breading is light, delicate and delicious, so don't leave it behind. The sauce had a little heat which enhanced the flavor. Sundays, they have Fried Chicken dinner special. The breading is very delicate with a light crunch, the chicken of full of flavor and juicy. Homemade Mash Potatoes and Chicken Gravy were excellent. The Vegetable medley were well seasoned and delicious. Today's desserts were Key Lime Cheesecake and Peanutbutter Cheesecake (my ears hear nothing after Peanutbutter is mentioned). Both were very light and fluffy. We will be back to try the rest of the menu. Looking forward to try the Wed and Fri Fish Fry.

We just boarded a pontoon on their boat docks, the restaurant was closed on Mondays. But it's a great place.

We came here in 2017 when we first moved here and I wasn’t super impressed. With Spanky’s having long waits and moving across town, I figured we should give it another shot. We got takeout pepperoni pizza and the nachos, both of which were AMAZING. The queso was amazing and the pizza was cooked perfect. I’ll be coming back!!

Doc's recently changed its menu, I had the mussels last weekend and they were DELISH! The broth was light and full of flavor. The mussels were perfectly cooked. Served with buttery, soft, airy, toasted bread. ? I know this is a meat and potatoes town, but there are plenty of gen X'er foodies around who appreciate elevated eats, even at the pub, so thanks for adding some variety! Yum! The rooftop is awesome to relax and watch the sunset, service is always great, friendly staff too! Parking: When they're busy, parking lot can fill up, but plenty of street parking too.
