Creekside Grill - Waterford

Nice spot for dinner, we enjoy the specials and the steaks are always great. Friendly service, and nice location overlooking French Creek.

Wings are great here. Meaty and crispy. Had the golden garlic flavor. Delicious. Paired it with a nice ribeye steak. The ribeye steaks are particularly good here. Friendly staff and waitresses. Great place to eat.

We stopped here while driving through the area and had a sensational lunch! The potato skins app was basically a whole loaded baked potato was delicious. The chicken sandwich was a chefs kiss . 10/10 place to go!

When I read Yelp reviews, I often find the first question I 'm trying to answer is, Will I be wasting my money by dining here? The short concerning Creekside Bar Grille is no, you will not. First, the name accurately reflects this establishment 's purpose bar first, grille second. Half of the seating is either at the bar or bistro tables with the remainder at traditional tables of four. Seating may be in short supply during peak hours as it was for us at 6 p.m. on Sat., 02.05.2022. Demand increased as others including multiple snowmobile riders arrived during our visit. A sign posted at the entrance also forewarned us servers were in short supply as they are everywhere else in the nation. We had no issues with our service. To the credit of the 3 servers we saw working the floor, they were hustling! I had a cup of stuffed pepper soup as an appetizer which was very good. Both my wife I had 10 oz. sirloin steaks with fresh cut fries. Both of our steaks were very good prepared as ordered. The fries were served in a large portion but were slightly overcooked. Everything, in my opinion, was reasonably priced. There is an outdoor deck that overlooks French Creek that I would love to try in summer. My wife I occasionally travel through the area have previously passed this restaurant. This was our first visit; we are not regulars. But our experience was favorable enough to suggest others give Creekside Bar Grille an opportunity. Fellow Yelpers! This was our first visit. It might seem strange to give five stars over a meal that was highly disappointing. My wife and I ordered fish. As we got into it it was bad. My wife sent hers back a first in the 40 years we've been together). A little bit later the owner came out, apologized profusely and said he tried some himself. He ordered the fryer shut down and no more fish to be served. He was incredibly gracious and so was our server. We WILL DEFINITELY go back on the merits of their integrity and graciousness.
