Brasserie - Waterford

A very nice restaurant in the middle of the amazing Guinness Storehouse. Food was great and staff was very helpful. Highly recommend the spicy wings, which are just amazing accompanied with a pint of Guinness

Everything was fantastic. The food was delicious and the atmosphere and ambiance was cozy and charming. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We were lucky to be able to move over to a table near the windows so we could see the city view. My husband had the special with roast, duck, and steamed veggies. I had the seafood pie. Both dishes were incredible. We were in town for a week for vacation, so I booked a reservation on Open Table because I wasn't sure if there would be a long wait before our Guinness Storehouse experience. There wasn't a wait. We went at 2:00 pm on a Sunday, so I'm not sure if it will be like that all the time.

Great food make sure you go with empty stomachs! Big portions and lovely menu choice However the staff (one in particular) were shocking. The main guy who served us absolutely fine really nice and attentive… however there was one girl who was singing and shouting across the restaurant to the other staff (thinking she was funny) which definitely wasn’t appropriate and extremely rude when people are trying to have a nice meal! She was also too casual around the customers hugging and flirting with one of the waiters and was also talking about relationships very loudly. Then as we were ready to leave all the staff were just sat at a table chatting. Only one girl was working still and it took her a little while to take our plates and get us the bill. With only us and one other couple in there….Understandable that people need breaks, but in any retail business you stagger them to make sure customers are sorted with their needs and staff are showing willing. I’d booked especially as a part of our mini moon, we both left disappointed and said if it wasn’t for that specific waitress being loud and rude and a bit more attentiveness from staff we would have enjoyed it more. Shame really.

Amazing place to eat and you can book only the restaurant without the tour. Of course, I tried the Beef Guinness Stew and it was gorgeous. Service is very good, staff make recommendations and price is accordingly.

Had a wonderful experience here. I was on vacation and came here after a tour of the Guinness Storehouse. The food was phenomenal and the staff were very accommodating and friendly.
