Ihop - Waterbury

The breakfast was delicious! The restaurant was spotless and we had a fantastic server!

Prior to covid the service was excellent. I was a regular and the staff new me. Come back after covid and the service is horrible and a different staff. I've let months past before trying aging and still no improvement. Noone answers the phone. Went in the other day to eat in. Sat on our booth for 15 minutes and NO ONE acknowledged us or anything. Same with the table next to us and they had been there before we got there. I don't know how this place is still open.

I recently ordered from this restaurant on DoorDash and was extremely disappointed with my meal. The eggs were undercooked and everything lacked flavor. I was not satisfied with my order and will not be returning to eat here again. The only positive was the orange juice, but it was overfilled and spilling out of the cup.

The service was exceptionally poor today at this restaurant. Although we were seated promptly, the table was dirty and sticky. When we asked for it to be cleaned, the buser simply ignored us and walked away. The food took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive, even though the restaurant was not busy at 2:30 pm on a Saturday. Our server never bothered to check on us after serving our meals. The grilled cheese was not even melted, the toast had barely any butter, the breakfast potatoes were overcooked, and the sausage and bacon seemed like they had been sitting out for a while. We had to flag down other servers to get our server's attention. The man who seemed to be the owner at the register showed no interest in us, simply processing our check without a word. Unfortunately, despite our anticipation of dining at this restaurant and planning our visit in advance, we will not be returning.

Well I for some reason went her again. The potatoes were running. When ask if i could get new ones. He said them come frozen. He would try to find non runny ones. Horrible. The wait are the worst. Rude, disrespect, walks away before I could answer. The meal I order, there was no bananas in stock. Changed to the roast turkey dinner, they brought me the sandwich. I explained what came in the dinner. They gave me the dinner with no garlic bread. No one checked on me. Half way through my dinner and yelling across the restaurant excuse me to get someone attention to ask for the garlic bread. They then tell me there out of the garlic bread. Worst meal ever.
