There are about 8 booths in this small little cafe attached to a gas station but they put out incredible food. We had the smoked salmon chowder and the french dip that actually has home made from the meat au jus and not some bottled fake stuff. Both items were excellent and the prices good for the huge quantity provided. I took home the curry salad and it was full of romaine, cashews, red grapes and chicken. The dressing was so good and I would love to have the recipe. We also took home one of their homemade pieces of pie-apple and cherry combo with a crumble topping that was very big and good enough for two meals and was delicious. We will be back again!
The Hawaiian pizza is delicious, the ham is thicker cut and everything is fresh Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Great stop for lunch, delicious food, extra kind staff we loved it! And their prices were local, not as inflated for tourists as other places, so extra points for that, thank you!
You can order anything on their menu and it is delicious!! They also have pies that are made in house which are absolutely amazing! You can order a slice or you can purchase a whole pie to take home! They have a regular foods menu and then they also have a pizza menu! The staff is always super friendly and they are also quick and efficient! Love this restaurant and will always go back as long as they are in business!!Kid-friendliness: The staff is always super kind and patient in dealing with customers whom have children with them. There is a kids menu and they also keep childrens books in or near the booths for a bit of entertainment for the kiddos while you wait for your food.
We stopped here for lunch and it was a little busy but not bad. Our food was excellent and arrived fairly quickly. The service was great. Prices are extremely reasonable also. We had a brownie which was really good. We bought a cookie to go and it was strange for a chocolate chip cookie-like a sugar cookie with some chips on the top. Eating it the next day was not a good idea-it was way too dry and hard to eat. Would definitely return.
