El Pulgarcito - Washoe County

Delicious! I've driven by this place hundreds of times and today finally stopped in and got some pupusas. It was delicious and very fair priced. Lovely little place that is locally owned and operated by a beautiful family.We will definitely return soon. Kid-friendliness: Family owned and operated. 10/10 recommend.

If you want Salvadoran food (dishes) with Mexican food flavor, El Pulgarcito is the place for you.But if you want to try Salvadoran food (dishes) this is NOT the place.Pupusas with cheese taste like Mexican quesadillas. The cheese they use is the same one they use for quesadillas.Marriage looks like mashed beans and rice. It looks and tastes like the beans they put in burritos.The flavor of Salvadoran dishes has the flavor of Mexican food.Perhaps the only good thing I saw in the food is that the pupusas are not greasy. But the flavor or seasoning of Salvadoran food is not Salvadoran.It is my observation of this place that is called “The Little Thumb”.

Pupusas were really good ? handmade cooked on a grease-free comal and with a very rich authentic flavor ? delicious! We had pozole was also really good,tasty,feety,&well clean. ? RECOMMENDED!

Pupusas are OMG! ?The customer service is always very friendly and if you dont want to wait they are always willing to take your order over the phone, the flavors and love on this restaurant is really remarkable, i am a weekly customer for sure would recommend
