Vinum Cafe - Washingtonville

It was the perfect conclusion to a lovely day after our visit to Brotherhood Winery. My friends and I shared mussels, escargot, and foie gras as appetizers. Two of us opted for the tender and well-seasoned prime rib for our main course, while the other two enjoyed the lamb rack, which was equally delicious. The restaurant was quite empty when we arrived at 4 p.m. on Sunday; I'm not sure if that's typical.

The food was excellent and the service provided by Chef Christian and his team was outstanding. Don't miss the signature mixed berries dessert!

Amazing food! And we loved her no steak knife policy!! If we couldn't cut our steaks with butter knives, they would send it back and give it back. This policy did not fail because it cut like butter! Super juicy and delicious. Elegant atmosphere, but not the best sound protection (may hear the birthday party quite clearly at the other end). The staff was also very friendly. We stopped on a snowy day after a wine tasting. We'll return when we get back to the area.

The food, music, service, and ambiance were all perfect. We celebrated my wife's birthday there last Sunday, and it was our first visit; we will definitely be returning. It was a nice touch to meet the owner, which showed his dedication to the place. We even enjoyed a wine tasting in the building next door.

Great, fresh food and service! I took my wife for her birthday and we loved it. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere with friendly, warm service. Vinum has a nice sized menu that includes something for everyone. I had a special with scallops- the best scallops I've ever had.
