Roberts Restaurant at the Omni Shoreham

Angry. Made reservation to eat there with cousin who was guest at hotel. It was based on menu. I parked at hotel. Then restaurant had buffet only which cousin didn’t want so we went to outside restaurant. But hotel charged me $35 to park because I didn’t eat at restaurant. Will never go there again.

The service is completely untrained. Nice enough people, but no clue about the menu items, order/food timing, interrupting conversation, tracking which plate belongs to which guest, etc. And to top it off, the parking attendant fought with my guest because she didn't have a copy of the meal receipt (I paid) so she had to pay $25 to get her car. Not OK.

It was our anniversary and they very sweetly brought us each a glass of prosecco to celebrate. I only wish that the menu was a bit broader. Also, we asked for bread 3 times and it never came so we just gave up. Otherwise, it was a nice ambiance and the staff was extremely friendly!

Elegant room, quiet, beautiful view of the garden, quiet attentive service; food good, not spectacular. Value overall, terrrific.

We had a reservation on Father's Day at 2pm, confirmed by open table and the restaurant the day before. On Father's Day around 1230 pm I received a call and text asking what time I was coming. I replied 2pm, and was told by text that the restaurant closed at 2pm. I repeatedly called and texted the restaurant, as well as the hotel as there was no answer. While driving there, others in my party also attempted to call the restaurant with no answer. I never got a reply to my original texts. We arrived with my 85 year old dad and were told the restaurant was closed. At that point we drove around trying to find a suitable outdoor place for lunch, which we didnt find until 3pm. Nevertheless, very disappointed in open table and the restaurant for running us around and spoiling our plans with my father and my husband, and kids. Will never book that again.
