Tequila Mezcal - Washington DC

First time visiting Tequila Mezcal with my friends. We had a great time. Their food was delicious and the drinks were great too (very refreshing).

Had a nice dinner at Tequila Mezcal. Staff was excellent and knowledgeable, suggested a tamarind mezcal cocktail that wasn't on the menu, it was delicious. The three tacos I ordered were also filling and good. My favorite was the Campechanos and the Birria but the octopus was also good. Will look to go back and recommend when in Columbia Heights.

Great place, nice quiet atmosphere, the food was really good especially the guacamole and chips. My shrimp tacos was good but just felt plain. My best friend had the mixed fajitas and she loved it. The drinks were different but the ones I liked could have been stronger. The one strong drink we got was strong enough but we didn't like the taste of it. Overall would rate this place 9 out 10...and the customer service was on point!

The shrimp tacos were great Drinks were cute but weren 't strong. Server was rude, I asked for checks (party of 8) She told she 's bringing one and walked away. We then had to ask a manager to split it, our server came back with separate checks like she could have done originally. Then after all was paid she felt the need to say next time say you want separate checks in the beginning I did, she chose not. Also I 've worked in customer service when there 's a large party

Great food, great drink selections. I got the steak and chorizo tacos and the house margarita with mezcal. Highly recommend!
