Shake Shack Union Station

Washington union station had Beautiful architecture but show signs of age. I was so amazed this place was. Generally the station was clean and well kept. There’s also a few places to shop and food court around, but most were closed.

One of the most beautiful train stations I've been to in the US. I love the old stone, the spacious, intricately designed interior, and the famous guardian statues. They've got plenty of restaurants and stores to grab a quick bite to eat while you wait for your train. Security is also on it in the rare occasion that a crazy person bugs people for money. I'm in and out of this station a lot and it's always a breeze.

Huge transportation hub with tons of fast food selection chipotle, chik fil a, shake shack, cava and more. Light shipping available as well Uniqlo, blue mercury, etc. Beautiful architecture for photos! Also a few homeless people here and there but mostly people who are on the go. Can be a hit or miss depending on the time of year or day. Either jam packed or eerily empty. Metro directly connected to station.

The signage at the station is quite lacking, leading many passengers, including myself, to wait in the wrong line for some time. Additionally, there are no wall outlets available for charging electronic devices, except in a few of the restaurants. We also encountered aggressive homeless individuals wandering through the station, seemingly ignored by security. Each floor features only one small restroom per gender, and the only positive aspect was that the women's restroom on the ground floor was reasonably well-maintained.

One drawback is the lack of signs throughout the station, which made it challenging for me to navigate and required some backtracking. Additionally, I found it odd that there isn't an information desk for Big Bus Sightseeing within the station. As a result, I had to venture outside and ask security guards for directions, which ended up taking me about 30 minutes to find the location.
